TestMaster® LPH Series Hydrostatic Test Tools - Up to 5,000 PSI (345 Bar)
The patented TestMaster® LPH Series tools are specially design to grip and provide positive sealing for plain end tubing. Having a safety spring pre-grip the tube, their clamping mechanisms assure a constant and positive grip during any work or operation cycle in the field or factory. The normally closed gripping collets can be manually released with a lever or actuated. These tools offer fast, snap-on coupling for hydrostatic test, air under water testing, and cleaning applications. In addition, they can be used for production testing of tube assemblies, and systems. The tools can be used both in manual and automatic applications.
The LPH Series tools are also configurable to use gas such as nitrogen and helium as well as aviation SKYDROL fluid for ground based testing applications.
The TestMaster® LPH's short, outside, has optional non-marking collets which is helpful for applications with short tube ends in restricted areas such as field testing or heating and cooling systems. The tools can also be used for leak testing, purging, and refrigerant charging. The LPH series tools handle standard tubes from 1/8" to 4.500" (3.18 to 114.300 mm) in diameter. Special sizes and fitting configuration such as flat tube will be reviewed for consideration.
The LPH series tools come in a lever actuated or a pilot-air actuated model. The LPH series tool is made from materials that allow the tools to be used with a wide variety of services including water, oil, and other fluids. The tools are engineered so no other fixturing is needed to contain the hydraulic loads.
