The patented NuQuip® Automatic Air Bleed valves are designed to attach directly to the Airmo hydrostatic test and hydro expansion tools. These valves automatically bleed entrapped air in the assembly prior to pressurization. This is very important, especially when pressurizing a part to failure. Compressed air stores more energy than compressed fluid. The less air that is present in the system, the less dramatic a failure will be should it occur. Also, removal of the air speeds up the pressurization process thus reducing cycle times.
