SelectForm® Model 400 M6 Series Modular End-Former Tool

The patented SelectForm® Model 400 M6 Hydraulic Power Pack is a compact, stationary system with an integral electronic package to power and control SelectForm® Model 400 M6 Series Modular End-Former Tools. The modular heads of the Model 400 M6 Series Tools are precision-machined of heat-treated stainless-steel, and designed to virtually produce any type of tube end form. Single or multi-head arrangements are available.

The Model 400 M6 Tooling can function as either a ram style end-former, or as a finger style (segmented collet) end-former; allowing for the greatest flexibility. The tooling is designed to quickly change from one size to another. These tools are capable of forming tube diameters from 3" OD to 6" OD - accurately forming flares, beads, end-expansions (bells), end-reductions, etc.

An operator can run the system with minimal effort, by positioning the tube in the tool then depressing the foot switch to initiate a cycle. The tooling grips the tube while reciprocating the forming mandrel or expanding the segmented collets. When the cycle is completed, the tool releases the tube to allow for the next cycle.
