The SelectForm® Model 400 M-Series Modular End-Forming Tools are available in 3 head sizes, with the capability of forming tube diameters from 1/8" to 3" OD. The modular heads mount on the top of the SelectForm® Model HM Hydraulic Power Pack.
The Model 400 M-Series Tools are precision-machined from heat-treated stainless-steel and can produce a variety of tube end-forms. Accurately forming end-expansion (bells), end-reductions, beads, flares, and other shapes.
The gripping modules have quick change collet sets to accept different size tube diameters. By selecting individual forming and gripping modules, your system can be arranged to meet your specific application. Contact Airmo for a consultation on options to meet your tube end-forming system needs.
The SelectForm® Model HM System operates with minimal effort, by positioning the tube in the end of the modular tooling. The tooling grips the tube while reciprocating the forming mandrel or expanding the segmented collets. The operator depresses the foot switch to initiate the 3 to 5 second cycle. Upon completion the tube is released, and the system is ready for the next cycle.
