Hydrostatic Test Tools - TestMaster® Tools

Airmo offers a complete line of patented hydrostatic test tools for quick and safe connection to plain end tube ends, standard ports and other unique connections.

Standard connection sizes range from 1/8" to 7" (3.175 to 177.8 mm) OD with pressures from vacuum service to 40,000 PSI (2,758 Bar). Other sizes and pressures will be considered. Airmo Test Tools are also known as Hydrostatic Test Connectors, Test Plugs, or Test Wrenches.

Our tools are suitable for hydrostatic pressure testing and hydro-expansion according to military, nuclear, automotive, and aerospace specifications such as API, ASTM, ASME, ISO, DIN and BS. Our tools are made from materials that allow the tools to be used with a wide variety of services including water, oil, and other fluids and are designed to meet or exceed flow rate requirements with little or no turbulence.

Features Benefits
Full flow, high pre-fill rate Decreases cycle times
Predetermined internal tube stop No measuring required ensuring proper tube depth engagement
Minimal-marking collet and seal design Prevents tube end collapse, eliminating tube end scrap
Lever or air actuated collet release Ensures fast, trouble-free chuck removal after each operation, decreasing cycle times
Specially designed collet locking principle Can be used in applications where only a short length of tube or pipe is available for engagement
Built in tube end tolerances Square cut ends are not required for efficient operation
Compact and balanced design Reduces operator fatigue
All metal components are precision-machined and made from heat treated, stainless steel Long, trouble free service
Various seal materials are available Flexibility for use with different test media
Pressure compensated design Safe operation – no additional safety devices are required
Air bleed valves available Eliminates operator attendance during the fill cycle
