Aerospace is quickly becoming Airmo’s most served industry. We are proud to grow alongside this evolving industry and continue to introduce and support our patented technology to new and existing customers around the world. The high-pressure systems and tools we develop for leak testing, pressure and proof testing, as well as flushing and filling of tubes, systems and assemblies, are designed to withstand the most challenging and extreme conditions of the industry and are proven to be built for decades of durable use. We are able to adapt to our customers’ unique component designs and manufacturing processes so they can successfully manufacture, launch and land their spacecrafts, satellites and rockets.
Aerospace Pressure Testing Systems & Tools
Airmo’s LPH, 64, 264, 364 and 464 model tools are designed for applications where liquid mediums are used. Where gas mediums are used, our LPHE and MPG model tools are best suited and can also be used with liquid mediums for leak testing, pressure and proof testing and flushing and filling of tubes, systems and assemblies.
The use of our tools is simple, and they can be used wherever tube-end openings are: slide tools on and off of a tube-end before and after testing, or flush or fill with no marring left behind on the tube-end. Avoid cutting and welding in your tube shop, assembly and testing areas just to connect. Airmo helps you save time and see improvement.
Tools can be used for both a supply connection to a tube-end — where your fluid medium enters — and also to close-off tube-ends where you want to stop flow and cap or plug a tube-end opening. Once you have tools connected, pressure can be supplied from our hydraulic power supply, capable of providing up to 30,000 psi of hydraulic pressure.
Adapting for Aerospace
Having served the aerospace industry with our high-pressure systems and tools for a number of years, we understand the right questions to ask to ensure we are providing exact solutions for the industry and your unique requirements.
At Airmo, we have a team who can answer the tough questions. We are eager to listen and respond to best match our systems and tools with your process requirements — liquids, gases, high flow, hot and cold temperatures, vibration, short and bent tube lengths, weight and material constraints, tight tolerances, etc.
Whether it is leak testing, pressure and proof testing or flushing or filling of tubes, systems or assemblies before or after installation, it is through collaborative efforts alongside our customers where we have found the most success and reward in improving products and processes. It is enjoyable making personal connections and learning about your applications and process to ensure you are provided with the systems and tools you need to be successful. We thank you and the Aerospace industry for continuing to choose Airmo.
