The functional role of the Customer Service Coordinator is to organize and perform the in-house process and logistics of the sale, from order taking to shipping, and planning and executing the necessary functions to process sales and meet the established goals and standards of the company.

  • Upon adequate training, price check and enter regular customer orders
  • Determine the required steps to fully process the order
    • Identify in-stock, purchased and/or manufactured parts within the order
    • Define the order as “pick and ship,” manufactured or purchased
    • Determine the status of all “in-stock” items for the order and fill job buckets
    • Coordinate with Buyer/Planner for purchased and manufactured parts/supplies
    • Coordinate w/ Customer Relationship Engineer any delivery/payment changes
  • Properly record changes to inventory and/or job processes in Epicor (ERP system)
  • Define current customer base ordering patterns and existing Airmo tools/systems
  • Contact current customers regarding wear part replacement and refurbishment
  • Coordinate orders in process and be able to report the status at weekly meetings
  • Work with machinists to coordinate efficient production scheduling for orders
  • Assist in the maintenance of current and proper levels of inventory
  • Work with our outside marketing firm to develop existing customer accounts
  • Streamline and develop relevant reporting functions for inventory and sales activities
  • Education
    Required: High school diploma
    Preferred: Trade school in manufacturing related field
  • Experience
    A minimum of five years of experience in a hands-on role with coordination duties, preferably in an AIRMO INC. related industry
  • Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
    The use of general hand and power tools
  • Physical
    Body Positions: standing, sitting, carrying (up to 50 lbs.) and walking
    Body Movements: carrying items, use of hands, vision, arms and voice
  • Mental
    Requires analytical and process orientation that includes basic counting, math and logistics
