Airmo high-pressure tools and technology stand the test of time when properly, used, maintained and serviced.

High-Pressure Tools Built to Last

Airmo provides pressure systems, tools, and accessories designed for unparalleled hydraulic testing performance and safety under high pressure. Our products work across industries, including HVAC, aerospace, defense, and energy, all of which necessitate our tools demonstrate durability and longevity.

We are particular about the materials that make up our parts, which is why Airmo only purchases top-quality, US-made steel. This trusted material ensures that the tools last longer and require less maintenance over time.

High-Pressure Tools Built to Last

Many of our larger high-pressure testing systems have been in operation for decades, working as if they were brand new, thanks to proper upkeep by their operators. Our moving parts, however, are considered “wear parts.” These are the smaller components inside our systems (e.g., collets, pistons, seals and O-rings) occasionally require replacement to improve the health of the larger equipment.

Our collets are designed for exceptional gripping, but their serrations or finishes will wear over time. Seals and O-rings with continued exposure to the water or air will need to be replaced. Certain factors contribute to wear, and there are a few ways you can extend the life of your parts.

Proper Maintenance Extends Your Tools' Lifespans

The easiest way to get the most out of your Airmo system is to properly maintain and manage its condition. Our systems can perform for decades and still run like new when properly cared for by operators. Some key factors to consider to help keep your system in proper condition are how often you are using the tools, what you’re using the tools for, and when your wear parts need replacing.

Using a tool or system for repeat cycles every day causes the moving components to wear over a shorter time than using them just a couple times over the same period. If you’re using Airmo products with high frequency, it’s important to reorder replacement parts and schedule regular maintenance for your systems.

A tool can also wear when it is not used enough. Certain parts of our high-pressure equipment require seals or O-rings to make the systems air- or water-tight, and these pieces can dry out after extended periods of inactivity. Keeping track of when equipment is used and conducting routine upkeep can keep these parts from drying out sooner than expected.

Be sure to only use your Airmo tools and equipment for their designated purpose, and only with the intended mediums. The use of foreign objects or testing mediums that the tools are not designed for can damage the equipment. O-rings may become overheated, scoring the system’s walls, and restricting parts so they cannot move as they should. Tampering with the systems’ capabilities from its original purpose is not covered under our warranty. If you need a system with different capabilities, let us know, and we will work with you to find a solution.
